Mine is a very feminine art with a childish flair. I relate to emotion and my portraits are often the capture of a momentum: a specific feeling that shapes a character.  

 

I’m interested in clicking with the viewer’s soul. I wish they could be taken to a memory or a dream while their eyes wander along the different elements of the painting, and I’m curious to know if they can reconnect with themselves by doing so.

 

Among all artwork I gravitate towards symbolist artists like Gustave Moreau or The Pre-Raphaelites. I support art reflecting on an emotion or an idea rather than the natural world, and thus I’m aimed at conveying a symbolic value in the emotional experience of each art piece.

 

Like the symbolists I often take advantage of the poetry of quietness and sadness, while adding

the mystery of children’s eyes to the equation.
