The apple works here as a metaphor, and so much so that it becomes the real character in each portrait. Depending on the composition it supplies a bleeding heart, a toxic feeling, a sick longing...and both its colour and shape is translated into a specific emotion. This collection explores the nature of the heart and how this one is transformed by either positive or negative experiences.
